Mahlon delivered equity training for Let’s Hike T.O., a diversity focused hiking group, and did a wonderful job. He had clearly done his research and was able to ensure the content was specific to the audience - a group of leaders who were passionate about the outdoors and hiking. answered questions with patience and real life examples, made the content relevant to our audience of hike leaders, and provided so many practical examples. We’ll use his training as a springboard to think more about diversity in every area of our work going forward.

- Hike Leader - Let’s hike t.o.

I have just finished a great consultation session with Mahlon. I am looking to introduce a bias response policy at my school as part of our work to become an anti-racist organisation and needed se help refining my thinking. In our one hour session together Mahlon shared learning, asked probing questions and helped me see this issue from the perspective of all stakeholders I. the school. As a result, I now have clear milestones, goals and a three wave approach to this work which I believe will have longevity and impact for the young people and staff at my school.

- Senior School Leader (UK)

Mahlon delivered an excellent talk at MyTutor. He found a great balance - broad reaching enough to be meaningful and focused enough to feel relevant to actions we could take as a company and individuals. All with a friendly, open and inviting tone, and making it clear how well he understood the topic, and leading to an engaged Q&A session afterwards. Thanks Mahlon!

- Co-Founder & CEO 'My Tutor'

By bringing together his broad experience across education, inclusion, and diversity, Mahlon was able to provide invaluable insight and perspectives that helped us to start thinking differently as an organization and as individuals. Mahlon played a key role in developing our ways of working and re-imagined training resources to incorporate professional and personal efficacy using e-learns, webinars, and instructional videos. Thanks to his valuable contributions during his time with LRTT, we're proud to have developed a course that really feels like an equitable exchange of information at a professional level that's up-skilling and empowering all teachers involved

- Co-Founder 'Inspiring Leaders' (previously LRTT)

Mahlon provided support as subject knowledge expert and lead tutor. Besides his subject knowledge, particularly noteworthy was the calm authority with which he interfaced with us. In addition to this formal classroom input which formed part of my teacher training, the big win for me is the benefit I had from Mahlon’s ‘real time coaching’ skills. His insights to tease out mental blocks while observing me navigate the challenges of managing classroom behaviour in a comprehensive middle school class, coupled with practical tips to address challenging classroom situations have lifted my practice to a significantly improved level from a few months ago.

- Secondary Teacher of Science - previous training teacher; NowTeach (UK)

During my Ark Teacher Training year - Mahlon was my training lead and also played the part of one of my Ark Tutors. Besides his excellent pedagogy knowledge, particularly noteworthy was the calm authority with which he communicated with me. Together, we planned lessons, practised behaviour management techniques and worked through some real-time coaching together. For example, we would record lessons and dissect key parts of that lesson which would become a SMART target which I would work on for the following session - this process allowed me to become a reflective practioner and helped to make me the teacher I am today.

- Science Subject Lead - Previous training teacher; Ark Schools (UK)

Mahlon was one of two facilitators for a Facilitation Training I attended. Given the nature of the topic and the audience (current and future trainers at an organization known for excellent teaching and training quality), this was a high-stakes event. Mahlon is a fantastic role model to inspire excellence in training facilitation and he manages to explain "the magic behind the scenes" and makes it actionable step by step for his participants. This was not the first training of this subject nature I attended, but this one really stood out with the truly masterful facilitators.
